Twitter's attorneys are accusing Elon Musk of violating the acquisition deal's Non-Disclosure Agreement. This is in light of the multi-billionaire’s latest posts on the platform revealing some of its inner workings, specifically the sample size its automated systems employ to check users.

This is just one of his many tweets criticising Twitter. Just like a certain former president, it seems Musk can't resist stirring the pot. This ordeal has put the acquisition on hold.

It is no surprise that Twitter Inc is trying to find any loophole to make the deal fall apart because there is no doubt this entire saga is not about money but the power an acquisition gives to anyone who operates what is now a critical speech platform (free or otherwise).

Whatever occurs, Musk's brash tweeting and Twitter's legal games could spell doom for an acquisition that everyone thought was a done deal. One step towards, two steps back.
